The Princeton Lakes neighborhood in southwest Atlanta is a mix of residential and commercial areas, giving locals convenient access to health clinics, retail needs and recreation options. “It’s a very welcoming neighborhood,” says Reginald Rushin, the chair of the Neighborhood Planning Unit that represents Princeton Lakes. Rushin says the area is also surrounded by walking trails and the city is looking at ways to expand the trails and connect them to other parts of Atlanta. The Princeton Lakes subdivision contains five sections, some of which are gated. The Estates and The Enclave have larger homes, between 2,500 and 4,800 square feet, and are located to the north of the neighborhood. The Regency, The Park and The Glen have smaller homes, including townhomes, and are located in the southern part of the neighborhood. Most of the traditional-style homes have garages and were built in the mid-2000s. The townhomes, some of which were built in 2016, sell for between $250,000 and $350,000.
