The community puts forth efforts for a better tomorrow through after-school programs at Cecil Kirk Recreation Center and community gardens at Boone Street Commons. “It’s an up-and-coming area. Some blocks are better than others, but we’re seeing change,” says Carl Smith, a Realtor at Smart Realty with 12 years of experience in the Baltimore area. “And a lot of the streets connect to Broadway, which runs right to Johns Hopkins Hospital.”
