Why Live in Brookfield Town

On the outer edge of Brookfield the city, Brookfield Township is a collection of three small neighborhoods along Springdale Road. Stretches of the city separate the three areas, and its two northern neighborhoods are relatively quiet. However, the southernmost area is a commercial hub. “We have The Corners, which has been voted the best in shopping, with very high-end luxury names,” says town resident Angie Gunja, tourism director with Discover Brookfield. The town also has an active restaurant scene. “We have everything from pizza to tacos to French cuisine, so we really cover all the bases,” Gunja says. “Our area has a ton of outdoor seating, so it’s just glorious in the summer.” The southernmost portion includes a mix of split-levels, Cape Cods, New Traditionals, Colonial Revivals and ranch-style homes found among the curving streets and cul-de-sacs.
