Roomy midcentury layouts with ample storage space
Eighty-four residences across six stories range from one- to three-bedrooms. Apartments don’t come on the market often, only one or two a year. Designed in 1960, the apartments have eat-in kitchens, numerous closets and just one bathroom (regardless of the unit size). Floor plans feature formal rooms, including salon-like foyers, designated dining areas (about a third have full-sized dining rooms)and generously proportioned living rooms. Less than 10 minutes from the subway
Door-to-turnstile, Archer Cooperative is less than half a mile from Parkchester station, which services the 6 train and 6 express train on weekdays during peak hours. For those traveling by car, multiple major thoroughfares — Brown River Parkway, Bruckner Expressway and the Cross Bronx Expressway — make getting around the Bronx easy and to Manhattan manageable.
