I was born in Queens in 1957. I am first generation American and the daughter of 2 Holocaust survivors, who instilled a very strong work ethic in me.m I grew up & lived on Long Island until I was 23 when I married my husband Steve in 1981 & we moved to Bay Ridge. I’m a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology, where I earned an AAS degree in 1977.
