Centrally located in Forest Hills
Located in the middle of the block on Yellowstone Boulevard, The Lincoln is a seven-story brick building with 127 units. Built in 1948, the co-op features a circular center courtyard filled with greenery. The sunken lobby with crown moldings and a fireplace is a gathering spot for visitors and residents.
“The Lincoln is a great representation of what Forest Hills represents to a lot of people,” says Bruce Eaton, an associate broker at The Corcoran Group, who is a Forest Hills specialist. “It’s in a very good location. It’s walking distance to the subway, to the LIRR, to buses. There’s a park right around it. You can walk to shops, groceries, coffee shops.”
Amenities at the mid-rise building
The mid-rise building is at 67-71 Yellowstone Blvd. The interior of the units features details of arch doorways, soaring ceilings and hardwood floors. The layouts are spacious, with large inviting foyers.
Built-ins are included in the units, and some have been converted into bookcases, while others serve as decorative space. Moldings are found throughout the apartments.
The kitchens are smaller compared to other Forest Hills co-ops, Eaton says. Some of the units have balconies.
Building amenities include storage, a laundry facility onsite and private parking with a waitlist.
“This is quintessential starter place for Forest Hills,” Eaton says. Because of that, there are always people moving in and out of The Lincoln.
Furry friends welcome
The co-op is a pet-friendly building which attracts buyers who are seeking a place for their furry friends, says David Dan, an associate broker at Benjamin Realty of Forest Hills. Up to two dogs or two cats are permitted with board approval.
A one-bedroom unit is generally priced in the low $300,000 range, depending on the condition. A two-bedroom unit is in the $500,000 range, Dan says. A one-bedroom unit was recently listed at $319,000. A remodeled two-bedroom unit featuring recessed lighting was sold in 2024 for $420,000.
There is a part-time door attendant and a live-in superintendent.
Walkable to shopping, dining and greenspace
For a quick run to the grocer, Food University Market Place is at 102-21 Queens Blvd. Fruit Ranch at 100-14 Queens Blvd. provides fresh fruits and vegetables.
Kosher Mezze Pizza Sushi and Andre’s Hungarian Strudels and Pastries are just some of the ethnic eats along Queens Boulevard for the adventurous foodie.
Yellowstone Park, which has a playground, is next door. The building is convenient to the popular Austin Street area for dining and shopping, West Side Tennis Club, Forest Park, and Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Getting around
The building is close to public transportation, two blocks from the 67th Avenue station with the R and M trains that always run and the E and F trains at night. The?LIRR is also close by and the Q23 and Q60 bus lines are within walking distance. The LIE and Grand Central Parkway are both conveniently nearby.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
