Architectural beauty southwest of Chicago
Morgan Park is about 16 miles southwest of Downtown Chicago, with access to multiple parks and public transportation. More than that, Morgan Park has beautiful architecture with ivy crawling the sides of homes, brick streets in some areas and a community spirit that’s present in the small moments of life. “The architecture is definitely a big selling point,” says Caroline Conners, a long-time local and executive director of the Morgan Park Beverly Hills Business Association. “With the green space, it’s like suburban living in the city.” Trees line the streets, creating shade cover for sidewalks and filling the neighborhood so that it doesn’t feel like it is in the middle of a big city.
