On the banks of the Red River, Brandon Hills is an oak-shaded neighborhood with walkable access to green spaces, restaurants and NCAA Division I sporting events at Austin Peay State University, one of the area's top employers. "The area is really being revitalized, especially downtown where several new businesses have popped up," says Realtor Jenifer Woodbury-Baker, who sells homes in the neighborhood with Benchmark Realty. "People are moving in because it has a growing metropolitan feel but also offers low-key, easy living." The neighborhood is also adjacent to Clarksville's historic downtown, which features outdoor summer concerts, farmers markets and an annual jazz festival. Prices range from $150,000 to $680,000. Brandon Hills was developed in the midcentury and offers both brick and wood-exterior homes shaded by old-growth trees.
