Located across the Red River from downtown Clarksville, New Providence is a neighborhood that has seen plenty of changes. It was one of the earliest settled parts of Clarksville and is home to the oldest standing structure in Montgomery County, built in 1792. Residential development took off in the 1940s and ‘50s, and now those homes are starting to be reimagined.
