Corona, which is located in Riverside County in inland southern California, is a city with nicknames as diverse as ‘Crown Town’, ‘The Circle City’, and ‘Queen Colony’. Corona’s economy is based on healthcare and medical sciences, education, government, tourism and leisure, production, retail and commerce, and professional and business services. The top three employers in Corona are the Corona-Norco Unified School District, which has a workforce of more than 5,000 individuals, the Corona Regional Medical Center, and Watson Pharmaceuticals. Three major corporations have chosen to build their headquarters in Corona. These are Monster Beverage, Saleen, a sports car manufacturer, and Lucas Oil Products. Other major employers in Corona include the City of Corona, Kaiser Permanente, Fender, All American Asphalt, TWR Framing, Dart Container, and Core-Mark.
