Fifteen miles south of the big city of Fort Worth, lies the suburban community of Crowley, Texas. The city of Crowley hosts a variety of community events throughout the year. Each major holiday is marked by a celebration or gathering of some kind. The first Friday in December, citizens gather to light the city Christmas tree, with the mayor at the helm. There is also an Easter egg hunt, a haunted hayride and a huge Fourth of July celebration with an impressive fireworks show. During warm months, the city sponsors movies and concerts in the park, where families gather to enjoy time with each other and their neighbors. There are a variety of restaurants, stores and shops in town and, the proximity to Fort Worth offers residents a multitude of options for entertainment, shopping and dining. A great community feel, modern housing and many amenities, make Crowley an attractive suburban area.
