Simple commutes to downtown Dayton
With access to U.S. Route 35 and downtown Dayton less than 3 miles west, many residents end up in the area for an easy morning commute. "For a lot of people in Burkhardt, the best thing about living there is the location," says local Realtor Todd Pultz of eXp Realty, who has worked in the area for over a decade. "It's one of the most central places to be in all of Dayton: you're close to shopping, close to the interstates. It's really incredibly easy to get just about anywhere in town if you're starting from Burkhardt." Public transportation is also essential to the neighborhood, and the Dayton RTA bus line provides access all over the city for two dollars a trip.
