When Vista Hills Country Club closed in 2018, it left behind an established community of houses that are now HOA-free. The East El Paso neighborhood, still known as Vista Hills, may no longer have homes that overlook active fairways, but it's still central to main thoroughfares, schools, parks, shopping, dining and other conveniences.
