Its historic homes include the Elkins Estate, a 42-acre property with several manor homes built in Italianate and Tudor-revival styles. These home styles and others are reflected across Elkins Park's streetscape. The half-timber storybook quality of Tudor-revival homes sits next door to simple American and Dutch colonial homes and spacious ranch-style houses. Among the varied architecture, standard single-family home amenities include ample outdoor space, street or driveway parking and spacious interiors. "Homeowners get really nice lots with their property, good for the price, nice and private," says local realtor Seth Govan. Residents also live in twin homes, townhouses and condominium complexes. Prices for Elkins Park vary depending on factors such as the size and age of the property.
