Oak Grove Village is a residential community on the east end of Fall River, a Massachusetts town directly south of Boston and southeast of Providence. This neighborhood offers a mix of single- and multifamily housing alongside a rich collection of local businesses, from Portuguese markets to Italian bakeries. The neighborhood exists in an increasingly coveted housing market, as the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority’s South Coast Rail extended commuter rail service to Fall River beginning in March 2025, easing the commute to Boston and increasing demand for properties in Fall River. “They’ve been talking about the commuter rail for 30 or so years and building it for the past five,” says Pamela Laliberte, a Fall River resident and Realtor with Re/Max Vantage. “As the commuter rail was being built, you could see the plans and the routes, and the housing market skyrocketed.” Oak Grove Village has a mix of apartments, single-family homes, townhouses and condos, primarily built in the early 20th century. The neighborhood features farmhouses, bungalows and three-story multifamily homes. Recent sales prices for single-family homes range from around $350,000 to $475,000. Townhouses
