Hampton, Georgia, is a city in Henry County. Considered a southeastern suburb of Atlanta, the city has a population of nearly 7,000 and is conveniently located by the Atlanta Motor Speedway, which is primarily used as a NASCAR race track, and the Henry County Airport. It has a total area of 4.3 square miles. The city has a small town atmosphere with antebellum historic homes, aged oak trees, and beautiful single family residences. Its downtown has renovated building facades and has sidewalks with custom engraved bricks.
