Once known as Farmersville, Acton has evolved into a suburban neighborhood while preserving its rural charm. Located just 18 miles southeast of downtown Indianapolis, Acton offers a peaceful retreat without sacrificing proximity to urban amenities. “Acton is a mostly quiet area that sits 30 or so minutes from downtown Indianapolis,” says Susan Forrest, Realtor with United Real Estate Indianapolis. “New developments have brought fresh housing options to the area.”
