Established residential suburb surrounded by natural landscapes
Holly Oaks' residents have no shortage of outdoor activities, with the forested hiking trails of the Jacksonville Arboretum on the west, the marshy banks of Mill Cove on the north, and the manicured putting greens of Blue Sky Golf Club on the south. The area is full of recently renovated midcentury homes shaded by towering oak trees. "Holly Oaks bridges the older neighborhoods to the newly developed neighborhoods of Kernan Boulevard and is seeing a positive price impact from it," says Kyle Ford, a local Realtor at Hometown Realty of Duval with over six years of experience in the Jacksonville area. "A lot of locals in the area remain for a long time as it's a great area to grow a family." The community is mostly quiet, aside from the sound of planes flying to and from Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport, to the south.

We have had a couple of foreclosed/abandoned homes. They have been renovated and new people have moved in. The majority of houses are well taken care of. One side of the street is considered a flood zone while the other is not (kind of weird...). Just something to consider if interested in moving here.
