Outside Jacksonville city limits, Maple Hill offers a rural area with generational farms near the Camp Lejeune Marine base and Topsail Beach. While some families have been in the area since Maple Hill was settled, many residents come and go as part of their military service at Camp Lejeune. Jacksonville can be loud and busy.
