Lincoln Park and other amenities
The 273-acre Lincoln Park, which opened in 1905, was the first park in Hudson County and contains a wealth of sports facilities from 21 tennis courts to seven baseball fields, a cricket pitch, three playgrounds, a running track, five basketball courts, two football fields, two soccer fields, and four paddleball courts. This massive green space is also a popular venue for jogging and fishing. Nearby, the Skyway Golf Course, with 55 acres of turf and nine holes, is the only public golf facility in the county and has hosted public tournaments since its opening in 2015. Art enthusiasts can check out Mana Contemporary, a cultural center featuring contemporary visual and performing arts exhibitions and programming. History buffs can visit the park to observe its 1929 statue of Abraham Lincoln, the park’s Civil War memorial, a fire department memorial, and a memorial to the Great Irish Famine.

Townhouses, Italianate and colonial style homes
Laid out in a grid, The West Side curves along the Hackensack River. On Jewett Avenue, single-family homes from the early decades of the 20th century sit beside more recently constructed apartments from the 1980s, reflecting decades of growth in this part of Jersey City. Excellent public transportation infrastructure
Boasting one of the highest transit ridership rates in the U.S., nearly 50% of Jersey City residents use public transportation for their commute.
