Homes with spacious lawns in Parkside
“Kenosha’s northwest neighborhoods are nice and well-kept,” says Sheila Heg, a managing broker with Lake to Lake Realty. “You’ll see a wide range of home sizes and prices, making it a great place to house hunt, whether you’re looking for a smaller starter home or a five-bedroom luxury build.” The mix of established ranch homes, minimal traditional, colonials and new construction comes equipped with tidy, spacious lawns, spanning anywhere from a quarter- to a half-acre. Prices range from $300,000 to $800,000. One-to-three-bedroom condos are also available here, selling for $105,000 to $290,000. Small ponds dot the neighborhood’s northern end, so a few properties offer waterfront views. “It’s a lot like the village of Somers; when something goes on the market, it’s gone quick,” says Stephanie Kaiser, a real estate agent with Big Block Midwest. “The other nice thing about this area is, while you have homeowners’ associations, they aren’t restrictive. You can have pools and outbuildings. You have the ability to do what you want with your property.”
