Why Live in North Laguna

Laguna Beach has long been one of Orange County's most sought-after destinations, and North Laguna has always been one of its most desired neighborhoods. "Other areas are catching up, but North Laguna has always demanded higher prices," says Realtor Meital Taub, the founder of Livel Real Estate, who has over 15 years of experience as one of the top sellers in Laguna Beach. The neighborhood's 1920s bungalows, beach coves and art galleries are essential elements of the Laguna lifestyle. However, its location is the reason it has remained popular. "It has always attracted people, but people really want to live here now because it's out of the busyness in The Village, but you can still walk to the restaurants and shops," says Taub. "It also offers the quickest route out of town because you can get on the North Coast Highway without driving through The Village." The North Coast Highway, also called state Route 1, is the town's central thoroughfare. So, while it's backed up with summer tourists, North Laguna residents only have to spend a few minutes on it to head north to corporate offices in Irvine or high-fashion shopping in Newport Beach. North Laguna has multiple recognized areas.
