Why Live in Lakewood Country Club Estates

Lakewood Country Club Estates — locally called “Country Club” — is a neighborhood that most residents have their eye on for years before settling on a home. This small community surrounding Lakewood Country Club’s 18-hole golf course is a pocket of larger homes and spacious lots among the area’s more uniform suburbs, like Lakewood Mutual. “Of course, there are people from all over, but for people who’ve been in the area for a while, Country Club is where they look when they want to move up to something bigger and nicer,” says Realtor Allison Van Wig, leader of Van Wig & Associates with Keller Williams Coastal and a long-time resident of this area of Lakewood.
