All the big stores are moving out here.”

Most houses in Tule Springs were built after 2000 and are in gated communities. Local history and animals
Visit the 22,000-acre Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument to learn about the Ice Age fossils preserved here between 100,000 and 12,500 years ago. Fossilized remains include mammoths, horses, camels and bison. Residents who are interested in animals will want to spend time at Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary. The 7-acre site is a safe haven for hundreds of exotic birds and domestic farm animals like pigs and goats who have lost their homes.
