Townhouses along two main roads in Mount Hope
“A lot of this area is industrial,” says Lorenzo Murray, a broker with HUNT Real Estate. “I think a consumer needs to know that it’s residential up against industrial, and that the area is, for the most part, limited to townhouse-style homes. It’s just not a revitalized area.” The area is primarily brick-and-vinyl townhouses in the New Traditional style, with a median sale price of $181,950. This is lower than Albany's median, as well as nearby areas such as Normanskill, Delaware Avenue and Helderberg, but higher than areas such as Second Avenue and Downtown Albany. “I previously owned a primary residence here and still own property in the area,” says Nii Nortey, a broker with NH Capital Realty. “It has a solid middle-class, stable neighborhood feel.”
Mount Hope offers a variety of housing options, from classic to contemporary.
