There’s a weekly farmers market every Saturday Washington Park from August to September, highlighting local mom and pop shops and farmers. 677 Prime is a popular steakhouse that’s perfect for birthday parties or dinner dates. McGeary's is an Irish Pub with a forest green exterior that hosts live music on the weekend and open mics on Wednesdays. “McGeary’s Pub is a key spot to go for good food and drinks,” Murray says. “And they throw a St. Patty’s parade.” The parade includes people decked out in green and lots of music. The Boozy Moo, one block south, combines sweet treats with adult beverages, blending ice cream and alcoholic drinks into milkshakes.

Palace Theatre, New York State Museum
