Jackson Area's location offers the best of Albuquerque's attractions
Jackson Area is a small Albuquerque neighborhood that puts outdoor recreation, shopping and dining all within quick reach. A 3-mile drive west leads to the lively Winrock Town Center, while a 3-mile drive east opens up a world of possibilities in the vast Sandia Foothills. While the nearby attractions are a big draw for homebuyers, the neighborhood appeals to those looking for a peaceful suburban lifestyle. "Buyers interested in that area like it because the homes have character. The neighborhood is more established and has a lot of families and retired couples," says Diana Leal, a Realtor with Weichert Realtors with over five years of experience. "The homes were mostly built in the 1950s or 1960s. Some of them have been remodeled, but they still retain that midcentury charm."
