You are close to the airport. You are close to the Walmart. You can easily get to Pineville, which is the next city over,” says Carissa McDaniel, a Realtor with EXP Realty, who grew up in the city. “Procter & Gamble is a big employer in Pineville and there are a lot of factories there, so people do commute for work.” In addition, students in the neighborhood are slated to attend top-ranked Alexandria Senior High. “You have younger families over there, but there are also people who have been there since the beginning,” McDaniel says. “It’s a really good mix, as far as the age demographic.”

They sell cobblers, brownies and milkshakes and they are all really great. It’s a foodie’s dream living in Alexandria. What we do for fun is go out to eat.”
