Grundy Cooper appeals to all age groups
Bordered by Louisiana Highway 28, Grundy Cooper is a quiet, established Alexandria neighborhood that casts a wide appeal for its prime location. “Convenience is the key word for Grundy Cooper. You are close to the airport. You are close to the Walmart. You can easily get to Pineville, which is the next city over,” says Carissa McDaniel, a Realtor with EXP Realty, who grew up in the city. “Procter & Gamble is a big employer in Pineville and there are a lot of factories there, so people do commute for work.” In addition, students in the neighborhood are slated to attend top-ranked Alexandria Senior High. “You have younger families over there, but there are also people who have been there since the beginning,” McDaniel says. “It’s a really good mix, as far as the age demographic.”
