Kellyland offers lower price points

With most homes selling for less than $100,000, the Kellyland neighborhood in Alexandria, Louisiana appeals to first-time homebuyers and investors alike. “It’s one of the most affordable neighborhoods in Alexandria,” says Danny Lair, a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty, who’s been selling homes in the area for nearly a decade. “It’s a great place to live. It’s a very quiet community. It’s an older community. There are a lot of first-time homebuyers, but there are also a lot of older homeowners who have lived over there for years and years.” Interstate 49 runs along the neighborhood’s northern border, allowing residents to easily get around the city and beyond. Weekend road trips commonly involve hopping on the highway to make the two-hour drive to Baton Route for LSU football games.
