The Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority provides local bus service to the community, with several stops along main streets such as Airport Road and Union Boulevard. “It’s easier to find public transportation in this area,” McCann says. Residents are about 3 miles northeast of downtown Allentown and about 65 miles north of Philadelphia.

The Airport Shopping Center includes chains such as Target and Sam’s Club, and locals can head a bit further south to pick up groceries at Redner’s Warehouse Markets. Copperhead Grille is a laid-back sports bar serving elevated pub fare and drinks while showing the latest game. On Union Boulevard, residents can enjoy authentic Dominican dishes at Mangu or head to Aladdin and dine on Middle Eastern cuisine underneath twinkling lights.
