An exclusively residential neighborhood, shopping and dining are a short drive via Amarillo Boulevard. “It’s a quieter neighborhood,” says Blake Goldston, a Westcliff resident and area director for BeLocal Amarillo, a local magazine. “It’s a very pedestrian community, and you see people walking around or driving their golf carts. Neighbors visit with each other regularly, but we don’t have any official events.”

Westcliff’s CAP Index Crime Score is a 3 out of 10, lower than the national average of 4.

Being in the Texas Panhandle, Amarillo experiences all four seasons, including temperatures in the 100s in the summer and below-freezing in the winter.
