"I would say the location is the main draw. It's a great location within Anchorage. If you're heading downtown, it's right there, less than a five-minute drive. If you're heading to the military base, it's convenient," says Janis Tolbert, an associate broker and realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Home Service Alaska Realty, who has sold several homes in the neighborhood. Living in Northeast Anchorage puts residents just minutes away from the popular attractions and activities of downtown while still providing daily needs and recreational opportunities at home.
