Within a mile, Kerrytown Market & Shops is known for its expansive farmers market and boutique feel in a busy, mini-mall setting. A popular spot for a sandwich is Zingerman's Delicatessen, where the Reuben is so popular that the restaurant served it to famous patrons like President Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
On weekends, the University of Michigan provides more chances for outdoor recreation, entertainment and culture, with many concerts and events taking place around campus. And of course, the Wolverines football games are always big events at the nearby University of Michigan.
