Golf course lifestyle with foothill views
The Meadows at Westwoods is intertwined with a picturesque golf course and offers foothill panoramas and quick access to the broader area’s amenities. Rolling terrain and open vistas characterize the far western edge of the Denver region and many homes border or overlook fairways and greenbelts. Though largely suburban, the backdrop of the nearby foothills and Ralston Creek corridor gives it a distinctly outdoorsy feel. “It’s the most desirable neighborhood in Arvada,” says Matt Leigh, Broker at KW Realty and longtime neighborhood resident. “You have a top-rated golf course as your backyard, a top-rated elementary school next door and you’re right up against the foothills with all the beautiful views that come with that.”
If you're a golfer you'll love that the West Woods Golf Club sits at the center of the Meadows at Westwood neighborhood.

Craftsman, ranch-style and traditional homes that sell quickly
Developed primarily in the 1990s and 2000s, the neighborhood features a mix of Craftsman, ranch-style, and two-story traditional homes. Some properties back up directly onto West Woods Golf Course, with patios or decks designed to capture views of distant foothills. Many homes have been fitted with solar panels and other energy-efficient upgrades, while the area’s spread-out nature means lots are larger than those in Denver. Home prices range from $670,000 to $1.2 million, though larger, more palatial estates can reach upward of $2 million. Homes move quickly – spending an average of 23 days on the market, compared to the national average of 45. “It’s rare to see something available, and when there is, it goes quickly,” says Leigh. “People want to live in Denver until they have kids or need more space – then, they want to move to Westwoods.” Crime rates are low, with a neighborhood Crime and Safety CAP score of 2. The national average is 4.
