A quiet suburb in West Athens
In Skyline, speed limits never exceed 25 mph, pine trees tower over finely manicured yards and floor plans measure upwards of 4,500 square feet. It's quintessential suburbia in the heart of west Athens. "This is a slow-paced community," says Dr. Celine H. Evans, UGA '08, UGA DVM '12 and an associate broker with Sellect Realty. She attended school and lived in Athens for eight years. "Athens has this dichotomy of students and residents who want distance from the University of Georgia. Skyline is one of those pockets for people who want to be away from the action." Plus, it's close to several shopping centers with big-box stores.
Skyline is one of the fastest growing suburbs in the Athens area.
