Ansley Park is one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods
In the heart of Midtown and with views of the city skyline all around it, Ansley Park is one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Ansley Park's abundant green spaces and wide, tree-lined streets were once the thoroughfares of horse drawn carriages before automobiles were invented. "If I were buying, it would be in Ansley Park," says Dawn Landau, an associate broker and owner of Environs Real Estate and longtime resident of Atlanta. "It's a stunning neighborhood, and the residents are extremely close."
Downtown Atlanta is only a short drive away from North Druid Hills.
Ansley Park's luxury real estate includes one-of-a-kind Italiante builds.

Over 100 years, Ansley Park's Golf Club offers an elevated atmosphere for recreational activity.
Neighbors become members of The Ansley Golf Club
Parks make up nearly a third of Ansley Park's 275 acres. Established in the early 1900s, Ansley Golf Club's 9-hole course is affectionately called "The Old Lady." The Eastside Trail is a part of the larger Beltline that will soon be connected throughout the city. "The neighborhood has a nonprofit devoted to maintaining their public spaces. There are five parks, plus landscaped traffic islands," Landau says. McClatchy Park has tennis courts, while Winn Park's 10 acres feature a small pond and stone waterfalls. Piedmont Park borders the neighborhood's eastern edge and is one of Atlanta's most popular recreational hubs, home to the 30-acre Atlanta Botanical Garden.
Ansley Park is one of Atlanta's most sought-after locations
Taking notes from famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, Ansley Park embraces a natural aesthetic that includes 100-year-old oak trees and landscaped cul-de-sacs. The neighborhood was one of the first in Atlanta designed for automobiles, accentuated by its broad, winding streetscapes. Craftsman, Victorian, Italianate and Contemporary 20th century architecture have been well-maintained. Prices often range from $1 million for half an acre to upward of $4 million, but it's rare for homes to be placed on the market. "There is a nice combination of multimillion-dollar single-family homes while still having condos and apartments," Landau says. "When people move here, they don't move out. I had a friend who recently sold their home in Ansley Park and downsized it to a townhouse." Ansley Park is a neighborhood where people stay, offering plenty of options for upsizing and downsizing. Condos can start at $250,000 and reach over $650,000.
Eat, work and play at Colony Square
With Midtown and downtown in its backyard, Ansley Park is just a short stroll from dining, bars, museums and shopping centers. "The neighborhood is surrounded by some of the best services in the city," Landau says. "Residents are walkable to all the businesses on Peachtree and Ansley Mall, which has locally owned shops like Ansley Wine Merchants and Intaglia Home Collection." Publix supermarket is at the mall, and Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are just a mile south of Midtown. Colony Square is a mixed-use development drawing crowds during events and dinners at one of its local eateries. "It's a famous development by Henri Jova. There's an office tower, condos, street-level retail and a movie theater," Landau says. "Rumi's Kitchen is one of my favorite spots over there, its upscale Persian cuisine." Politan Row is a food hall with 12 startup restaurants and a cocktail lounge.
Intaglia Home Collection is a furniture store of Ansley Park.

Atlanta's public transportation is run by the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), which offers a bus and light rail service currently running downtown but is being extended to the Southside Beltline. "The MARTA is already in Ansley Park. We all in the city are looking forward to the expanded transit coming to Atlanta," Landau says. Ansley park is beautiful. Traffic can be heavy at times with all of the people cutting through. A lot of construction on Peachtree Circle and the 15th street areas. some areas need updating. Lots of hidden parks. Great walking area. Near to restaurants and museum.
