Polar Rock is within walking distance of Lakewood attractions
In Atlanta's vibrant southeast region, Polar Rock is a micro-community coming into its own. "It's seen some tough times, but it's growing," says Realtor Juli St. George with Keller Williams Realty, who's been serving Atlanta homebuyers for a decade. "The Lakewood Stadium and the Lakewood Amphitheatre have been great for the area and brought more attention to this corner of Atlanta." The community may not have as many restaurants, shops or attractions, but it's surrounded by parks and recreation spaces, according to St. George. Major highways also border the neighborhood, so getting into downtown Atlanta or any of its attractions is accessible. Being a short walk or drive from various parks and outdoor venues has made Polar Rock more desirable and continues to support its growth.
