A residential city halfway between Tacoma and Seattle
Downtown Auburn is a small city located halfway between Tacoma and Seattle with a strong residential feel. While Main Street is lined with restaurants and businesses, people can also turn off this thoroughfare into their neighborhoods. While plenty of people work in Auburn, the area is popular with people working in Seattle or Tacoma. “It’s centrally located especially with people wanting to live close to Seattle without paying higher prices,” says Broker Amanda Mannila with John L. Scott Real Estate. Further, Auburn is growing, with more development happening downtown, so residents can expect more businesses and restaurants to pop up just minutes from their homes.
