City Center North
The busy sidewalks of South Evanston Way
The residential cove of City Center North sits in the center of commerce areas to the east and open fields to the right. South Evanston Way winds its way through the center with established bike and on-street parking lanes running parallel. Breaking off are the residential streets, mostly composed of condominium complexes and townhomes, where “residents are always out and walking around,” says Gibson. Almost all of these were constructed in the early 1980s, with some being built in the 2000s, and can range in price from $150,000 for a one-bedroom condo to $400,000 for a larger three-bedroom townhouse. Traditional-style homes with gray stone tile roofs can be found peeking from behind mature oak trees. The modest front yards are home to sidewalks that lead to cul-de-sacs found at the end of each street. Those looking to purchase a house in the neighborhood can expect a range from $400,000 for a two-bedroom home to $510,000 for a three-bedroom home constructed more recently. It is also worth mentioning that homeowners association fees are present within most of these complexes and subdivisions and tend to vary from one to another. The shops of Town Center at Aurora
The neighborhood is home to Aurora City Place, home to Target Grocery, Michaels, Ross and more. Just across East Alameda Avenue is Town Center at Aurora, a shopping mall where guests can retail shop at Macy’s, JCPenney, and many other popular retailers. Nearby is BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, where pub-style food and a cold beer can be enjoyed after a day of shopping. Within eyeshot is Parkside Eatery + Bar, an open-space bar where friends can gather to watch a sports game while snacking on its popular Lucky Bird Fries.Fireworks at Aurora Municipal Center
Residents looking to partake in local events do so at the Aurora Municipal Center located in the neighborhood. It’s 4th of July Spectacular hosts food vendors, live music and of course, a grand firework show in the evening. They also host a Holiday Tree Lighting during the Christmas season with activities and holiday treats to pair. The highly-ranked Aurora Quest K-8

Older students will attend Hinkley High School, which has earned a C-plus on Niche, where students can take advantage of International Baccalaureate courses.Walk to City Center Park
Strolls to City Center Park, which sits just south of the residential area, are made easy thanks to trails that connect to cul-de-sacs. Relaxing walks can be continued along paved trails that circle a pond found at the park’s center, where geese are known to frequent. Tennis courts and a playset are enjoyed at Yellow Park, along Elkhart Street, where visitors can catch views of East Toll Gate Creek. The convenient commutes of City Center North
