While the neighborhood does not have a homeowners association, some multi-family complexes charge monthly dues. "There is easy access to the base and many hospitals in the area,” says Livingston. “Military personnel are moving there, but so are doctors and medical specialists," UCHealth is another major employer, around 6 miles northwest. “A lot of people don’t realize it, but Aurora has a lot of jobs in tech and defense,” says Caleb Pence, an Aurora managing broker with Black Crown Real Estate. “The base has a lot of military jobs, but they hire a lot of tech contractors from Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and similar companies.”
