Westover Hills is part of the Northwest Austin Civic Association, which is said to be the oldest and one of the most active neighborhood organizations in the city. Getting to, from and around Westover Hills
With three major thoroughfares bordering the neighborhood, Westover Hills residents have easy highway access to get virtually anywhere in the city, including downtown Austin, which is about 10 miles to the south. For those without their own transportation, several Capital Metro bus stops throughout the neighborhood make getting around more convenient. And for those whose travel plans take them a little further afield, Austin-Bergrstrom International Airport is 17 miles from the neighborhood.
