Avon Lake is a beautiful residential community in Lorain County, Ohio. Walker Road Park also offers a rentable pavilion, walking paths, soccer fields and a fishing pond, and Wiess Field is Avon Lake’s premier baseball park. A number of smaller neighborhood parks, such as Resatar Park, are cozy places to stroll, picnic or play basketball. Favorite places for residents and visitors in Avon Lake include the Beach Park Railway Museum, the 103rd OVI Civil War Museum on the waterfront, and the Sweetbriar Golf Club.

Commuting to and from Avon Lake is easy, with access to both Interstate 90 and U.S. Route 6 offering access to downtown Cleveland. Avon Lake is also an extremely bikeable city, with bike lanes on every major street.
