Residents can walk to the public, 18-hole Forest Park Golf Course, which borders the neighborhood to the north. The par-71 course covers more than 6,000 yards and offers golfers access to also offers unique fairways , a pro shop and a clubhouse. Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park is south of home, with hiking trails, educational exhibits at the Carrie Murray Nature Center and exercise equipment and athletic courts at the Cahill Recreation Center. The Cahill Recreation Center provides plenty of ways to stay active. Visitors to the center can:

Traveling within the city or to Baltimore County

Downtown Baltimore is 7 miles east on U.S. Route 40, making it a convenient landing spot for many commuters around the area. “It’s a 50/50 mix of people working downtown and in the county,” says Cooke. “You're close to Catonsville and the Baltimore Beltway for people who need to commute around the city, which is definitely desirable for buyers here.” Commuters can catch a MARC train from the West Baltimore Train Station, which makes stops at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Washington. MTA CityLink buses stop along main roads in the neighborhood for public access across the Greater Baltimore area.
