Located just off the fairways of the Maryland Golf and Country Clubs, Country Club Park is a small residential neighborhood with multiple housing styles. Colonial and midcentury homes mingle with modern Traditionals, lending a suburban feel to the area. Nearby schools are highly rated within Harford County, and Bel Air’s bustling shops and restaurants are just a few miles up the road. Local playgrounds, quiet cul-de-sacs and a sense of community come together to create just one of Harford County’s many sought-after neighborhoods. The CAP Index Score for Country Club Park is 1 out of 10, which is significantly lower than the national average of 4.

Golf 18 holes or head to nearby parks and playgrounds

Maryland Golf & Country Clubs dates back to 1961. This 18-hole golf course and members’ facilities include a pool, clubhouse, bar and an outdoor patio for events and daily sitting. The club also hosts member events and tournaments throughout the year. When not catching a game at the high school during football season, families can head to nearby parks and playgrounds like Lyn Stacie Getz Playground or Colonial Acres.

Annie’s Playground, named to honor the memory of a former resident, is one of the largest playgrounds in the country. It is located at Edgeley Grove Park, just south of Winters Run Golf Course and the Harford Equestrian Center. The Ma and Pa Trail is a long rail trail for bikers and walkers that runs throughout Bel Air, and locals can access it at one of a few entry points.

Mid-century and Colonial-inspired homes and spacious lots

Country Club Park’s housing includes a mix of Colonial and midcentury styles. Raised ranch homes and split-levels mingle with stately modern Traditionals on spacious lots. “The entry point for home prices here is around $280,000 to $300,000, and then houses can go all the way up to about $800,000,” says Mark Novak, a Realtor with Mark’s Home Team of Cummings & Co. Realtors. Large driveways, fenced yards, private pools and views of the golf course are common here. Streets have slow-moving traffic and end in quiet cul-de-sacs. Most homes cost between $450,000 and $800,000 and often have four or more bedrooms and plenty of garage space. Some homes that are closer to the course are pricier. “Homes around the Maryland Golf and Country Club can easily go for $1.2 to $1.5 million,” Novak says.
