Brimming with homes from the 20th century
Most Fairview homes were built between the 1920s and 1960s; Many are investment properties that home buyers can make their own. The established streets of Fairview show an abundance of housing styles, including workers' cottages, bungalows, and prairie-style homes. Many display a rustic charm with wooden houses with gabled roofs and brick exterior elevations suited for the region's rolling hills. Lawns are often small and neatly kept, and homes in the neighborhood range from $50,000 to around $200,000. "Fairview is an older area where many people can get to know their neighbors," Alva says.
Spend time at Fairview Park
Fairview Park is a small space between 28th and 29th Ensley Streets. It has a playground that children can enjoy while parents walk along a paved track encircling the play area. There are grassy spots for an impromptu football game and benches for outdoor gatherings, like birthday parties.Traveling to nearby schools
