While there are no MAX Transit bus stops in the neighborhood, there are several in the bordering East Birmingham and Woodlawn areas. Riders can take the bus around 4 miles to Central City and to Druid Hills, where they can visit attractions like the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, respectively. The University of Alabama at Birmingham is a nearly 10-minute drive.
