Maple Grove is a small suburban neighborhood in Birmingham’s Airport Hills community, comprising just over 300 acres. Birmingham City Schools serves Maple Grove’s public school students. Martha Gaskins Elementary, L.M. Smith Middle and Huffman High School all score a C-minus on Niche. Huffman High features career and technical education programs that prepare students for future careers in fields such as welding and construction.

The Maple Grove Neighborhood Association meets on the 1st Monday of every month at the Brownsville Heights Community Center. Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and Living Stones Temple are two neighborhood churches hosting regular services. Crafts and locally sourced produce are sold from East Lake Farmer’s Market vendors, hosted at the East Lake United Methodist Church every Saturday.
