Penfield Park’s public school students attend classes at Birmingham City Schools. Martha Gaskins Elementary teaches from pre-kindergarten through fifth. Students move on to Ossie Ware Mitchell Middle and Huffman High School. All three schools received C-minus ratings on Niche. The high school is home to the Birmingham City Schools’ Academy of Architecture and Construction, which offers careers and industry-based training in fields such as carpentry, electrical technology and welding.
Huffman High School is a magnet school open to students from across the district.
