Palm Beach Farms
Ranch homes and estates overlooking the Hillsboro Canal
Palm Beach Farms radiates the classic South Florida vibe, with palm trees towering over sidewalk-lined roads. Many homes in the neighborhood were built between the 1970s and ’80s, though new builds are blended in as well. One-story ranch-style homes are common, typically on near half-acre lots. New builds often have contemporary architecture or are custom-built. Many homes have amenities like private pools, and several houses back into one of Boca Raton’s many waterways, the Hillsboro Canal, offering scenic water views. Home prices typically range between $900,000 and $2.8 million. Newly built estates in the neighborhood can cost anywhere from $3 million to $4.9 million. The neighborhood doesn’t have HOA fees, which is a big selling point for prospective buyers.Boca Raton Community High School offers a STEM program
Palm Beach Farms is zoned to the highly rated Palm Beach County School District. Kids will likely start at the Addison Mizner School, a K-8 school that receives an A-minus from Niche and offers programs like Future Business Leaders of America and a Pre-Business IT Academy. From there, students will likely head to A-plus-rated Boca Raton Community High School, home to a four-year STEM program where students take Advanced International Certificate in Education courses and can participate in robotics and computer design competitions.Picturesque ocean views at South Inlet Park
Pine Breeze Park is a short walk for many residents in the neighborhood. The pocket park has basketball courts and a playground. Palm Beach Farms is also a few miles from the Atlantic coastline and the many beaches and parks on Boca’s east side. “It’s close enough to that beach that people take their golf carts,” Retamar says. South Inlet Park has scenic ocean views and a jetty where visitors can cast a line or relax. Red Reef Park is also popular for snorkeling and surfing. Members of the private Boca Raton Golf Club are a few miles from the club’s 18-hole course.Upscale shops at Royal Palm Place
South Dixie Highway, a major thoroughfare less than a mile away, leads to shopping centers, restaurants and entertainment in the downtown area. Popular grocery stores like Publix and Trader Joe’s are less than 2 miles away. For high-end shopping, residents head to the Royal Palm Place shopping center, which has boutique shops, jewelry stores and upscale restaurants. Casimir Bistro’s menu options include French cuisine and an assortment of wine options. Mizner Park, in the heart of Boca’s downtown area, is about 3 miles away.I-95 and quick access to downtown Boca
Palm Beach Farms is less than a mile from Interstate 95 and U.S. Route 1, two major highways in the area. Though Boca Raton does offer public transportation in the central parts of the city, there aren’t any stops in the neighborhood. Pompano Beach is about 11 miles from the community, while Fort Lauderdale is about 21 miles out. The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, 26 miles away, is the closest major commercial airport in the area, but Boca Raton Airport flies recreational and corporate flights.
