Whisper Walk is made up of smaller subdivisions, each with its own amenities and home styles. The Whisper Walk subdivision is a 55+ community broken into five sections consisting of attached villas with patios. These homes, built primarily in the 1980s and '90s, feature modern rooflines and simple shapes. Other homes in the area are Mediterranean-inspired homes with copper tile roofs and tall archways or ranch homes in neutral colors with wide driveways. The villas in the neighborhood go for $200,000 to $400,000. Other single-family homes cost between $450,000 and $650,000; larger homes with more bedrooms can cost up to $1 million. Townhouses and condos in Whisper Walk, of which many are lakefront and in a gated community, are generally $400,000 to $500,000. HOA fees are anywhere from under $100 to $800 monthly.

Pinewoods Park is a public green space within walking distance of the neighborhood. It offers three baseball diamonds and a playground. The park is also one of the practice and game sites for West Boca Youth Baseball, a league for kids ages 4 to 16. Southwinds Golf Course, just south of the neighborhood, is a public golf course for those who want to play without committing to a club membership. Local fauna, including otters and iguanas, make their habitats on the grounds. The course is a certified Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary, with special guidelines to maintain wildlife ecosystems and conserve resources. Whisper Walk is home to the only Ben’s Kosher Deli outside of New York. The cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with pre-packaged meal plan options. While there is a Publix in the neighborhood at the Reserve Shopping Center, Doris Italian Market & Bakery sells local seafood, fresh produce, and authentic Italian baked goods and ingredients. Surrounded by major roadways
Whisper Walk is bordered by Highway 441 to the west and Florida’s Turnpike to the east. Both roads are direct lines straight to the rest of South Florida. Yamato Road leads to Interstate 95 or the beaches of Boca Raton, less than 10 miles away. Bus stops in the neighborhood are primarily concentrated on Yamato Road. Whisper Walk is directly between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport. Both are about 30 miles away. The nearest hospital is the West Boca Medical Center, about 5 miles away.
